Structural constellations
Installation, Ton, Video, Objekt. 9min. |2010|
The scene of this special choreography is the pier, which forms the lower gently swaying edge of the water, which, in turn, draws up the upper part of the image respectively. In turn personifications of the Material, Spiritual, Art, Everyday Life, Fate and the Future appear, which the accompanying audio informs the viewer about. The artist appears in this series of constellations as well. In the system of relationships she designed, she is present as an observer, participant, and moderator.
An allegory of conscious art in constant motion manifests itself in a consistent process of attraction and rejection, distance and proximity of individual variations of the whole system.
The chosen course of artistic self-reflection represents the practice of the psychological concept of structural constellations. The complex structure is visualized in space. Throughout the personifications of abstract concepts, such as «idea» or «time», a look at everyday manoeuvres is generated, as well as an assessment of situations in their variations and relationships between itself. «*, a 90-minute installation compressed to nine minutes for an exhibition ends with a situation of possible combination of spirit, matter, art and life. This happens regardless of fate or future. The overall picture and documented dynamics make clear that this is not the only option for completing work.
