Face art — face future, the program accompanying the exhibition “Ernst Barlach — Käthe Kollwitz” in Minsk, Kiev and St. Petersburg, will train young people to become exhibition ambassadors during a period of max. 5 weeks. During their training, these young ambassadors follow up key-questions of the two artists which are still up to date worldwide: social justice, ecological responsibility, peacekeeping, processes of change. As peerteamers, they share and discuss their work results with other young people in public performances and art-presentations. The program was conceived in Hamburg and together developed by art historians, art-mediators and artists from Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and Germany at the Train-The-Trainer-Conference in Minsk in October 2017.
