Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a neologism which denotes a perceptual phenomenon characterized by a pleasant tingling sensation in the back of the head that spreads like goosebumps on the skin of the neck and back to the limbs. Sound, visual, tactile or cognitive stimuli provide ASMR experience. The phenomenon of ASMR-Video, a phenomenon on Youtube described as a way to calm and relax, a low voice, tapping and rustling with paper or cellophane. When we see the video for the first time, we are surprised and perplexed. ASMR undertakes attention management strategies; mass media use the same strategies. In my video, I look at catalogues of various goods and comment on them using low voice in the ASMR technique, immersing the viewer in an anabiotic state, thereby drawing an analogy between mass consumption and hypnosis, a gas spray, home decor as well as icons on the pages of one catalogue do not surprise, but calm and immerse in a daze.
